Mt Martha Beach wedding

Wanting your Melbourne beach wedding on the Mornington Peninsula, but not sure where to go? What about a Mt Martha Beach wedding ceremony?

Mount Martha is located 60 kilometres south east of Melbourne’s CBD and is a centrally located on the Mornington Peninsula. The stretch of beach is 2km long with Balcombe Creek mouth dividing this beach into two halves, north and south.

Our couple chose Mt Martha South beach as the back drop for their beach wedding ceremony with the cliff face in the background. Mt Martha South beach is close to the lifesaving and yacht club with small boat sheds lining the beach, and is a popular location for wedding photography.

Although this beach is extremely difficult to access, the panoramic views over Port Phillip Bay are breathtaking and with only a short distance to the water.

Mornington Peninsula wedding

Wanting to have a Mornington Peninsula wedding ceremony on the beach, but not sure on the best location?

The Ranelagh Club is located in a small private area of Mt Eliza with private access to a small beach with colourful bathing boxes. It has the complete package with the venue situated on the cliffs with uninterrupted views across Port Phillip Bay and a private beach which catches an intimate view of the city skyline.

This Mornington Peninsula wedding venue is closed to the public on Saturdays to cater for private events, including weddings, making your entire day exclusively for you and your guests. The Ranelagh Club has a large deck area which is undercover, creating the perfect wet weather back up, but still captures the water views.

Our bride and groom wanted a beach wedding, so chose our Island Paradise package with a few personal touches. Our creative bride provided her own aisle decorations using jars and flowers which were later used as centrepieces at the reception. She also had bali flags to mark her entrance into married life.
